Osamu quietly walked into the entrance hall of the Opera Magnificent. As ever whenever he walked in it took him a bit to resist the urge to change from outdoor boots to his indoor shoes. Instead he took especial care to wipe the dirt off his boots.
He looked around hunting for Christine, trying to think of where she might be. His Katana was the only weapon on his person that wasn't tucked inside his obi, that was carried in his left arm(his now sword arm) slung on one shoulder. His other two blades, the Tanto and the Wakizashi were shoved into his obi, ready to draw their blades glistening in the light.
Why did he keep his Katana unsheathed? The hook on the end gleamed off the light. That was the reason. Besides the fact with its length (the whole blade, hilt and all was 1 metre) meant that it was often easier for him to wield it with its most effectiveness when he could gain momentum straight off by bringing it ready to fight.
His one eye, dark brown in colour, glistened as he regarded the world over the top of the smokey quartz lensed silver framed glasses he wore. They werent' there to correct vision, instead to keep the glare of the sun.
He hoped he'd not got there too late to miss Christine totally. If anything he'd rather be there early and have to wait for her. As the door opened behind him he turned his head so that he could see over his shoulder who'd just walked in.

Christine entered the Opera house, she had been here the previous day to talk to the managers and today she was back to sort out her roles within the opera house. She was dressed smartly in a dark blue corset that had lace around the bodice and the skirt puffed out elegantly, removing her black velvet gloves she slipped them into a pocket sewn into her dress.
She stopped in her steps as she noticed the man in front of her, frowning she marched up to him this was the worst idea Raoul had thought up yet and she had thought she’d made herself clear on this but obviously she’d been ignored.
“Can I help you Taisumai?” she asked raising an eyebrow at the man, she didn’t know what Raoul was thinking when he suggested the idea, she couldn’t spend her days being trailed by this man, not only did he look intimidating but it was embarrassing for her.

"Is it not permissable for me to arrive at my place of work," he enquired. It was true, he did work here. He trained the various actors to fight safely with blades yet keep the fights looking realistic. What Christine hopefully wouldn't realise is that today was meant to be one of his days off.
"I just suspected that seeming as no doubt you would be arriving shortly after I arrived I had may as well wait for you," he added on, he'd had this excuse already sorted. He wouldn't easily fail his other employer. He had a clear and brillant track record so far afterall - why let it be ruined.
"Besides if its that much of a concern you would find that people don't often notice me," he added on. His training taught him that. How to blend himself in with the shadows. He never tailed someone he was sworn to guard in sight. He much preferred to keep within the shadows and follow them without making it seem like he was there as a guard.

Christine sighed, “I do not blame you for this, it’s very nice of you to take my husbands offer” She paused, “However I feel it is unnecessary and my Husband was wrong to hire you, I assure you I will be perfectly save here. I’m sure you do your job well and wouldn’t make it obvious but I just don’t like the idea” she said firmly.
Christine knew he worked here as well as a trainer to the dancers, and found it frustrating the Raoul would hire someone so close to the opera house and inform him of their affairs. She knew he only wanted to make sure she was safe, but Christine needed her freedom and couldn’t stand feeling like she’s in a cage.

"Very few people do, most take me just as another neccesitity though," was Osamu's only response. It was true, most people he ended up being hired to protect only ever called him by the term 'guard' not bothering to use his last name, or even just his first name. He was used to being treated as below standard.
Now his former master had never called him by his name, only using the term apprentice but that was different. That was what he was. "You will have to understand though, m'lady, that I cannot not fulfil orders," he added on quietly. It was true. "I will not try and interfere with how you wish to run your life, my only duty is to move should you life be in danger," he added on.

Christine sighed, this man seemed to be quite insistent on his ability to do his job correctly “Okay you wont make your presence known?” she asked, not quite believing herself she was considering letting Raoul get his way.
“Will you be with me all the time?” she asked “I mean I want to know when your trailing me and when your not” she said not quite liking the idea of him following her for her ‘protection’ when didn’t know he was there. But she was worried if she didn’t agree Raoul would have him follow her anyway and she wouldn’t even know he was there.
